Welcome to the Turn the Tide website!

Turn the Tide Teignbridge is a not-for-profit community group run by volunteers with a big ambition: to make Dawlish the most climate and nature-aware coastal town in the UK. Through family-friendly events, education and community action, we inspire people to celebrate their local area, support wildlife and biodiversity, and help create a more sustainable future.

Since 2022, Turn the Tide has delivered environmental festivals, wildlife trails, creative competitions, school projects and community events that bring people together and encourage positive action for sustainability, wellbeing and their local area.

Turn the Tide Festival 2026

An annual community festival in Dawlish, Devon, bringing together residents, businesses, schools and community groups to celebrate climate action, nature and sustainable living.
